Between April 2017 and March 2018, SKOP is providing training to teachers in Primary Schools, state and non-state, in the use of a series of e-books focusing on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These e-books explain the SDGs to children in Years 4,5 and 6 and can be downloaded free of charge in ePub and PDF versions, together with accompanying audio files in MP3 format.

SKOP will be providing 30 sessions offered to 10 participants each session (maximum amount of direct beneficiaries: 300). The duration of each training session will be two hours and SKOP is working in collaboration with the Ministry for Education (MEDE) and the management teams of individual schools to carry out these training sessions in the schools.

This project aims to foster cooperation between NGOs working on development education and other important stakeholders within the educational system. It will strengthen education for sustainable development (ESD) in Maltese schools and respond to one of the main focus areas of the SDGs: the eradication of poverty and promotion of social justice for all, especially for marginalised groups.

Should you be interested to register for a training session, please contact us at your earliest.

This project is financed through the Small Initiatives Support Scheme (SIS) 2017, managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS).
